An exceptional talent and a true darling of musical theatre, Shonagh Daly has captivated audiences around the world with her powerful voice, emotional depth, and magnetic stage presence.
Discovered by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Shonagh’s remarkable journey began with performances at some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the inaugural gala for the U.S. President George W. Bush, attended by Tony Blair, and the first Ground Zero memorial concert at the request of Rudolph Giuliani.
In 2003, she performed before an audience that included Her Majesty The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Laura Bush, Colin Powell, and Condoleezza Rice, affirming her place as one of Ireland’s most gifted vocalists.
Shonagh’s career has flourished on the West End stage, with standout performances in Les Misérables and The Beautiful Game in London’s West End. She has also appeared at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Birthday in the Park, delivering a show-stopping rendition of Buenos Aires from Evita.
Most recently, during 2024 and 2025, Shonagh toured with Sir Tim Rice on his celebrated production, Tim Rice – My Life in Musicals, performing to sold-out theatres across the UK and earning glowing reviews from audiences and critics alike.
Her debut album, Beautiful View (Polydor, 2004), showcased the emotional honesty and vocal brilliance that have become her hallmark.
