The fusion of old soul, jazz, pop, R&B and reggae is a reflection of my upbringing and the tapes mum and dad had for my Walkman. This eclectic sound allows me to create shows and performances that people never forget.
Lem played Big Mickey and ensemble of What’s New Pussycat? The Tom Jones Musical. Lem trained at Guildford School of Acting. Lem is very proud to be the first person of colour to play Dewey Finn in School Of Rock (International Tour). He was also a finalist on The Voice UK (BBC), where he first worked with Sir Tom Jones. Theatre credits include: Choir of Man (Mimi Ohio Theatre, USA); HouseFire (Metta Theatre); Billionaire Boy (Nuffield Southampton Theatre/UK Tour); Pricilla Queen Of The Desert (Queens Theatre); The Hundred And One Dalmatians, One Love: The Bob Marley Musical (The REP); Boxed (The Vaults) and Ragtime (Charing Cross Theatre).
Workshops include: Little Bits of Light (National Theatre); Back To The Future (Colin Ingram Ltd); The Rise And Fall Of Reginald Perrin (The REP). Online credits include: Cells: A Musical Film (Metta Theatre/ Royal & Derngate Northampton/Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch/The Stephen Joseph Theatre).
