Marley Armstrong is a Los Angeles native with Canadian roots. She grew up listening to the likes of Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, and Judy Garland and has been described as “hipster Marilyn Monroe”, and a “combination of Judy Garland and Amy Winehouse”.
She is a musical theatre performer by profession, but has a deep love for all things jazz and vintage- her favourite film is “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”. She began her own jazz combo, The Marley Armstrong Combo, with cast mates of the musical “Million Dollar Quartet”.
